At Centrul de Echitație Diana, a family farm with over 65 years of tradition in caring for animals, we are opening the doors of the „Summer in the Saddle” programme. It is a complete experience for the little ones, with a horseback ride, horse care, games and lunch included, all in small groups so that every child receives the attention they need.
What the children’s riding camp includes
The „Summer in the Saddle” programme runs daily between 10:00 and 16:00 and is designed to combine fun with learning. Here is what your child experiences on a camp day:
- Guided and interactive tour of the farm – safety rules explained in a way children understand

- A horseback ride (20 to 25 minutes per child), accompanied by an instructor
- Acting activities and team games for confidence and cooperation

Groups are small, 5 to 10 children, for children aged 5 to 8. A minimum of 5 children registered per day is needed for the camp to run.

- Price: 200 RON per child per day (lunch included, from Domeniul Valea Merilor)
- Groups: 5 to 10 children, minimum 5 children registered per day
What the little riders should bring
- Comfortable clothing and long trousers
- Closed shoes (no sandals)
- A cap or hat, sunscreen and a bottle of water
- A light hoodie and a change of clothes

Is the camp held if it rains?
Yes. We move the activities into the covered arena or focus on indoor workshops.
Is it suitable for shy or inexperienced children?
Yes. A gentle pace, explanations children can understand and individual support. No experience is needed.
How long is the horseback ride?
Each child gets 20 to 25 minutes, accompanied by an instructor.
How do we handle food allergies?
